Maruti Suzuki, known for its premium SUVs in India, has launched its 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG in India, and it comes loaded with significant safety and feature enhancements.

You get 6 airbags in this SUV, which makes it a much safer option for families.

The CNG variant comes in two trims – Delta and Zeta – which are priced at Rs 13.48 lakh and Rs 15.62 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.

2025 Maruti Grand Vitara S-CNG Key Features

The Grand Vitara S-CNG runs on a 1.5-litre K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine.

It produces 88 PS of power and 121.5 Nm of torque when running on CNG.

It is offered only with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The vehicle offers a mileage of 26.6 km/kg, making it a very fuel-efficient SUV.

This CNG option is built on the mid-spec Delta and Zeta variants of the petrol Grand Vitara.

Compared to the regular petrol versions, the CNG variants cost around Rs 95,000 more.

But for many buyers, the fuel savings and lower emissions could really make that extra cost worthwhile.

What’s New?

The biggest change in the 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG is the addition of 6 airbags as standard, which now includes both front and side airbags for better safety.

Along with this, the SUV now also features:

Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay

Wireless phone charger

Still, this SUV misses out on some premium features like panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, powered driver seat and heads-up display, which are available in the higher variants (non-CNG).

Dimensions and Comfort

This SUV measures 4,345 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width and 1,645 mm in height, offering a large comfortable cabin for 5 people.

Its compact yet spacious design makes it suitable for both city and highway driving.

Competition

The Grand Vitara S-CNG is the only CNG SUV in its class.

Its other petrol and hybrid versions compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.

But here’s the thing: none of these competitors have a CNG option available right now, giving Maruti a clear edge for buyers looking for a fuel-efficient and eco-friendly SUV.

With robust safety updates, a fuel-efficient CNG engine and all the essential features, the 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG is now a smart choice for budget-conscious buyers.

If you are looking for a safe, reliable and affordable SUV, then looking at the Grand Vitara CNG now could be your best move.

Just note that it is only available with a manual gearbox and is limited to the Delta and Zeta variants.
