Bajaj Freedom 125 now Rs 5,000 cheaper: Entry variant gets price cut

Bajaj is a name that has made its mark in India when it comes to motorcycles.

Currently, Bajaj Auto has introduced a limited-time discount of Rs 5,000 on the base model of its cutting-edge bi-fuel motorcycle, the Bajaj Freedom 125.

This discount applies only to the NG04 Drum variant, bringing its ex-showroom price to Rs 85,976. The high-end models – Drum LED and Disc LED – are priced at Rs 95,981 and Rs 1,10,976, respectively.

The company hasn’t confirmed if this discount will continue or not, so if you’re interested, it might be a good idea to avail this offer right away!

The Bajaj Freedom 125, which has made its mark in the Indian two-wheeler space, is the country’s first motorcycle that runs on CNG. It has a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces around 9.4 to 9.7 bhp and 9.5 to 9.7 Nm of torque depending on the fuel source.

Not only this, there is a 2 kg CNG tank and a 2-litre petrol tank under the seat. Bajaj claims that this arrangement provides a combined riding range of 330 kilometres, including 200 kilometres on CNG and an additional 130 kilometres on petrol.

The most special thing about this motorcycle is its fuel efficiency.

According to the company, the Bajaj Freedom 125 gives an impressive mileage of 102 km/kg on CNG and 64 to 67 km/litre on petrol, which can reduce fuel consumption by up to 50% compared to a common petrol bike in the same segment.

The CNG tank adds a little weight, taking the kerb weight to 147.8 kg, and the seat height can seem high at 825 mm due to the position of the tank.

In terms of design, the Freedom 125 features a sturdy trellis frame that not only protects the CNG tank but also supports its horizontally mounted engine, providing stability and balance.

While the base variant gets a monochrome LCD display, AC and higher variants get LED lighting and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Bajaj Freedom 125 is aimed at budget-conscious urban riders who want great fuel efficiency without sacrificing modern features.

The Rs 5,000 discount makes the deal even more attractive, especially for buyers who want to try out new fuel-saving technology on their daily commute.
