Upgraded Mahindra XUV700 Spotted On Test Drive In A Hilly Terrain, Could Feature Meaty Upgrades

Mahindra had introduced its XUV700 four years ago in 2021, and many auto experts had been predicting that it would soon be ready for a major upgrade.
There have been many rumours, but now the rumours have been confirmed after a refurbished XUV700 was caught on camera for the first time.
A test vehicle of the XUV700 was recently spotted in hilly terrain, and it was probably on a test ride.
The test vehicle was highly camouflaged, but experts have been able to unearth certain new features of the vehicle.

The exteriors of the XUV700 are surely expected to get a major facelift, though it cannot be discerned since the test vehicle was highly camouflaged.
It is expected that the next iteration of the XUV700 will feature an updated grille, headlamps, bumper, and new DRLs, though the side profile does not look much different from the earlier models.
The next variant could also feature enhanced Level 2 ADAS, a three-screen setup, rear seat ventilation enabled in the six-seater versions, an ambient light decorated glass roof, and the latest techs. It could also feature better auto park assist.
However, not much change can be expected in the diesel and petrol motors under the hood.
The upgrades may seem trivial, but are noticeable, especially when it comes to the headlamp console. It seems that Mahindra has done away with the sleek headlamp configuration and replaced it with circular LED units.
The company has also done away with the C-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs) which are featured in the current models of the XUV700.
These have been replaced with circular headlamps integrated with the LED ring that is expected to function as a DRL.
The images of the test model also reveal two auxiliary lights sticking out, which in all probability will not be seen in the final XUV700 upgraded models.
The grille also looks like it has undergone a major makeover, and the lower lips of the bumper also reveal a sleeker air dam vent.
The rest of the exteriors seem akin to the present iteration of the vehicle, with the alloy wheels and taillights akin to the present models.
