One of the most beloved singers in India, Shreya Ghoshal, has arrived in Mumbai for her much-anticipated ‘All Hearts Tour.’

Originally, her concert was set for May 10, but it had to be postponed due to Operation Sindoor, which was related to the India-Pakistan border situation.

Now that the new date has been officially announced, fans couldn’t be happier! Shreya Ghoshal will be performing at Jio World Garden in Mumbai on May 24, 2025.

Why was the concert postponed?

As a result of this operation, many artists chose to cancel or postpone their concerts.

Notable Indian musicians like Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Papon, and Usha Uthup also decided to delay their performances as a show of solidarity with the nation.

"No risk of upsetting your international fanbase" Mumbai Police Takes Dig At Bollywood's Silence on Pahalgam Attack With Instagram Story

In what can be termed an oft-repeated phenomenon, Bollywood stars maintain an obnoxious silence, especially after terror strikes. Investigations of terror incidents reveal that the roots of such attacks often lead to Pakistan.

When the whole nation was mourning the cold-blooded murder of 26 innocent tourists in Pahalgam by Pak-sponsored terrorists in front of their families, not a single so-called bigwig of Bollywood like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan condemned the killings and remained conspicuously absent from social media.

This led to intense trolling, with many netizens calling for the boycott of Bollywood.

However, the Maharashtra Police has decided to pay back the hypocritical Bollywood stars in the same coin.

Mumbai Police Questions Bollywood’s Silence on Pahalgam Attack

An Instagram Story, which was posted on the official Maharashtra Police account, has become viral.

In the story, the Mumbai Police made a veiled dig at Bollywood stars for their silence on the recent India-Pakistan flare-up.

The story featured pictures of prominent Bollywood stars, including the Khan trio, along with a sarcastic caption:

“Dear celebrities, it’s safe now. You can crawl back to Instagram, no risk of upsetting your international fanbase.”

The post has since become viral, with many netizens reacting to the post.

Some netizens construed it as a veiled and sarcastic dig at the stars for their continued silence on the Pahalgam killings and the subsequent hit back by India in the form of “Operation Sindoor.”

Many fans stated that the silence by the stars is to prevent any backlash from South Asians who are residing in the Gulf countries and other parts of the world.

One netizen referred to the silence as selective silence.

Salman Khan’s tweet, “Thank God for the ceasefire…” after the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, also evoked furious reactions.

The star was also derided for not posting his reaction when 26 tourists were gunned down in Pahalgam.

The star later deleted his post.

The Pahalgam terror attack provoked India to launch “Operation Sindoor,” in which terror hideouts deep into Pakistan were targeted and destroyed.

India hit major terror camps in Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Bagh, and Muzaffarabad, and killed scores of terrorists who were undergoing terror training in these camps.

In what could be a historic moment for Indian K-pop fans, reports suggest that HYBE, the South Korean agency behind global groups such as BTS, Seventeen and Newsines, is planning to open an office in the “city of dreams” Mumbai.

The news comes from South Korea’s Yonhap news agency, which has created massive excitement among Indian ARMYs and K-pop lovers.

If true, this will be HYBE’s first official presence in India, having previously had a presence in the US, Japan, and Latin America.

“Market research is ongoing in multiple regions,”

a HYBE spokesperson said, not denying the India plans.

Could BTS Finally Perform in India?

With BTS planning to reunite in June 2025 and a world tour in 2026, fans believe the move increases the chances of India being included in the tour list.

India, once considered off-radar due to its poor infrastructure and low album sales, is now seeing a surge in international shows.

Artists such as Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and Jackson Wang have already performed here, and 2024-25 saw a steady increase in the number of Korean artistes visiting India.

According to the latest EY-FICCI report, India’s entertainment industry clocked a turnover of Rs 101 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach Rs 167 billion by 2027.

HYBE’s entry could open doors not just for BTS but also for other groups like TXT, Le Sserafim, NewJeans, ILLIT and BOYNEXTDOOR – all of whom fall under HYBE’s sub-label.
