Silver Rates in Mumbai: Silver 10g: Rs 1,901 | Silver 100g: Rs 19,010 | Silver 1kg: Rs 1,90,100

Silver prices in Mumbai today are Rs 1,901 for 10 grams. If you want to buy a bigger piece, 100 grams costs Rs 19,010. For those who need even more, 1 kilogram costs Rs 1,90,100. These rates change every day, so it’s good to check before you buy or sell.

In Mumbai, silver is common during festivals and weddings. Many people buy silver coins and small bars for gifts. Some shops in Zaveri Bazaar offer silver jewellery at fair prices. But always ask about making charges and check current rates.

Silver prices in Mumbai depend on the international market. If the US dollar goes up, silver prices here may change. The local taxes and demand also make a difference. Some days, prices go up due to high demand during the wedding season.

Unlike gold, silver is more affordable. This is why many small investors and families choose silver for savings. But silver prices are not always stable. They can fall quickly if the world market drops. So, be careful if you are buying for investment.

You should also keep bills and certificates when buying silver. It helps if you decide to sell later. Some shops give better prices for pure silver (99.9%). Always check the purity before buying.

Gold rates in Mumbai today are as follows for 10 grams: Gold 24k: Rs 1,29,430, Gold 22k: Rs 1,18,640, Gold 18k: Rs 97,070. These numbers keep changing every day. So, it’s always better to check the rates with your local jeweller before buying or selling.

Many people in Mumbai buy gold for weddings and festivals. It is a common investment too. In Mumbai, the rates can sometimes be a bit higher than other places. This is because of local taxes and making charges by jewellers. Most shops in big markets like Zaveri Bazaar will show you the latest price. But you should ask about extra charges. Sometimes the price you see is just the gold price, and making charges are added later.

Gold prices depend on many things. The biggest ones are the international gold rates, the Indian rupee value against the dollar, and government import duties. When these factors change, Mumbai rates also change. During festivals like Diwali and Akshaya Tritiya, more people buy gold. So, rates can move up because of demand.

Many people here also sell old gold when prices go up. You can check the price on your phone or newspaper. Still, actual buying or selling rates might be a bit different in shops. Always check the purity of gold before you buy. 24k is pure, but softer. 22k and 18k are more common for jewellery.

Mumbai is known for its big gold markets. But do be careful, and only buy from trusted shops. Check for a bill and proper gold markings to avoid problems later. Gold is precious but prices can change fast, so stay updated.
