Security breach at Salman Khan’s house; Two intruders arrested in separate incidents
Two intruders arrested in separate security breaches at Salman Khan’s residence; investigation underway.

Mumbai Police has arrested a man and a woman in separate incidents within a week for trying to break into Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments home in Bandra (West).
Both are linked to the security breach at the Bollywood star’s home.
The first incident occurred on Tuesday morning when 23-year-old Jitendra Kumar Singh, a resident of Chhattisgarh, was spotted hanging around near the actor’s house around 9:45 am.
According to police reports, when a security guard approached him, Singh reacted aggressively, smashing his mobile phone on the ground.
Later that same day, Singh managed to enter the home of another Galaxy Apartments resident while pursuing his car.
He was quickly apprehended by the security team and handed over to the Bandra police.
After some questioning, the police revealed that his motive was simply to meet Salman Khan.
He admitted that when he requested to see the actor, the security staff turned him away at the gate.
The following morning, around 3:30 am on Wednesday, a woman named Isha Chhabra, 32, made her way into the building where Salman Khan resides.
Chhabra, who is from Khar, successfully reached the elevator and knocked on the actor’s apartment door.
Upon inquiry, Khan’s staff confirmed she wasn’t on the guest list and promptly alerted the police, who took her into custody.
FIR registered, security tightened
The Mumbai Police have filed an FIR against Jitendra Kumar Singh and Isha Chhabra, citing various sections of the Criminal Code.
Both individuals are currently in custody, and authorities are digging deeper into their backgrounds and motives.
In April 2024, two unknown assailants on a motorcycle opened fire outside Galaxy Apartments, issuing clear threats. Following this, several officials received alarming messages threatening their lives and mentioning bomb attacks.
In the wake of these incidents, Khan has significantly upgraded the security at his home, increasing surveillance and restricting access to his property.

Salman Khan Reacts to Security Constraints
Speaking to a media earlier this year, Salman Khan spoke about how security personnel have limited his personal freedom.
“I have to go for shooting from my house Galaxy and then come back home. There is no detour,”
he said.
“It hampers my style.”
Past Threats and Connections
Security measures were ramped up after Khan’s close friend, NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, was murdered by the same gang in 2024.
In response to this tragic event, the police increased security around Khan’s residence.

Many people in Mumbai buy silver for jewellery, gifts, or investment. Some buy silver coins or bars during festivals like Diwali and Akshaya Tritiya. Others use silver in small business or industry. Mumbai has a lot of jewellery shops. Prices may change a little from shop to shop because of making charges or purity.
Big banks and good jewellers give pure silver with a proper bill. If you want to buy, check today’s rate before you go. Ask for a purity certificate. In Mumbai, you may see crowds in Zaveri Bazaar or other old markets when silver is low. But prices can go up or down any day. There is no fixed pattern.
Some people think silver is safer than gold. Others say silver is cheaper for savings. But both can also lose value. News about the world economy or changes in import duty can affect silver rates a lot.
If you are buying silver for a wedding or festival, plan your purchase. Don’t rush. Small jewellers may have lower prices, but always check the purity. Right now, silver is not cheap, but some still buy small amounts every month.
No one can promise what silver rates will be tomorrow. Keep checking the rates and buy only what you need.

Mumbai man arrested for killing stepdaughter, dumping body in Arabian Sea

In a disturbing incident, a 40-year-old man was arrested in Mumbai for allegedly killing his five-year-old stepdaughter and dumping her body in the Arabian Sea, Mumbai police said on Tuesday.
The accused has been identified as Imran Shaikh, police said.
The matter came to light when officers from the Colaba police station found the girl’s body floating near Sassoon Dock in south Mumbai on Tuesday morning. When the police began investigating, initial investigations revealed that the girl had gone missing from the Antop Hill area in central Mumbai a day earlier.
The child’s mother, Nazia, who works as a domestic helper, went to the Antop Hill police station along with Shaikh and lodged a missing person complaint. Based on their statement, the police registered a case of kidnapping against an unknown person.
But during the investigation, CCTV footage showed that the girl was last seen with her stepfather, leading the police to suspect his involvement. After the body was found, Sheikh was taken into custody for questioning.
According to the police, Sheikh eventually confessed to strangling the girl to death and dumping her body in the sea. Though the reason for the murder is still under investigation, initial reports suggest that Sheikh may have killed the girl in a fit of rage, possibly due to a quarrel at home. It is also suspected that the girl playing on her mobile till late at night may have triggered his anger.
Shaikh had recently married the girl’s mother, which was his second marriage. The police are still investigating the case to uncover all the details related to the crime.
