A video that has become viral depicts ICE agents dragging Aliya Rahman, a US-born techie. She was taken into custody by ICE on Tuesday. Ironically Rahman was detained in close proximity to the site where Renee Good was fatally shot less than a week ago.

The footage shows Rahman screaming when she was dragged from her car by ICE agents in Minneapolis. The woman was desperately holding to the doors of her black Ford Fusion. The ICE agents also broke the car window.

The woman, who was identified as Aliya Rahman , is a US-born tech expert.

Aliya was seen in the video pleading to the ICE agents that she is disabled and was going to a doctor in the street. However, the masked ICE agents did not relent and forcibly pulled the woman into a waiting federal vehicle.

Rahman, for her part, has talked about the issue and told media outlet Newsweek that the last couple of days were traumatizing and devastating. She also stated that she is happy that she is alive, perhaps referring to Renee Good, who was not so lucky. She also revealed that she had an appointment at the Traumatic Brain Injury Centre, but soon the ICE agents appeared and assaulted her.

She also described how the ICE agents had bound her much akin to an animal. Her pleas that she is disabled did not make any difference or effect upon the ICE agents.

Aliya Rahman’s LinkedIn profile details that she is a community-centered security consultant, full-stack developer, and engineering manager. She has under her belt more than 15 years of experience and was last employed at Anywhere Real Estate Inc. as a software engineering manager.

Aliya Rahman has under her belt an MS in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor’s in Science in BS, Chemistry, and Mathematics. She also claims that she is an expert Python (Django, Flask) and TypeScript/JavaScript (React, nextjs, node.js).

The media house Daily Mail also gave a lot of information about her personal life, which stated that Rahman was born in the US but grew up in Bangladesh. The media outlet also stated that Aliya Rahman was involved in social justice activism, as well as supporting LGBTQ+ and racial injustice causes. Her activism could also have been a factor for her detainment by the ICE.

The Mail report also stated that Rahman moved to Washington DC in 2014 and she found employment at the Code for Progress, a nonprofit dedicated to highlighting diversity in the tech world. Two years later she moved into Minneapolis.

Lesley Groff Emerges as Second Most-Referenced Name in Newly Released Epstein DOJ Files

Lesley Groff, Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime executive assistant, reportedly appears more than 157,000 times in recently released DOJ documents. Officials say the frequency reflects her role in handling scheduling, communications, and travel logistics for Epstein. She has not been charged with any crime and denies wrongdoing.

The name that appears second only to Jeffrey Epstein in the documents released by the DoJ is Lesley Groff. Federal officials stated that Lesley Groff, Jeffrey Epstein’s long-time aide, appeared 157,000 times in the documents that were made public.

The reason for her name appearing so many times is that she had handled communications and scheduling for both Epstein’s professional contacts and the people who travelled on his behalf.

The release of the earlier unredacted Department of Justice (DOJ) documents associated with the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal network led to Groff’s name appearing repeatedly.

Lesley Groff, 58, resided in New Canaan, Connecticut, for a long time, but her name was not known publicly until the release of the latest documents, leading to a spike in public and media interest.

Lesley Groff had worked for Epstein for almost twenty years and had joined Epstein’s team in 2001. She remained under Epstein’s payroll right until his death in a New York cell in 2019, when he committed suicide awaiting trial for charges of sex trafficking.

Groff was working as Epstein’s executive assistant and was tasked with maintaining the convicted sex offender’s daily calendar, travel logistics, high-level communications, and meetings.

Lesley Groff was the point of contact if anyone wanted to organise a flight on Epstein’s private aircraft or arrange meetings with high-profile personalities.

She also handled mundane tasks like college admissions for family members. According to media outlet WSFB, she was the dominant administrative figure in Epstein’s wide, elite-facing operations.

During the course of numerous lawsuits related to Epstein’s crimes, her name also appeared a number of times, and she was alleged to have helped arrange massages and travel tied to abuse.

However, most of the lawsuits were either dismissed or withdrawn as part of settlements or victim compensation processes.

To date, there is no public record of criminal charges against her. Lesley Groff has constantly maintained that she did not participate in any illegal activities.

It is reported that Epstein referred to Groff as an extension of his brain and paid her a hefty salary of $200,000 per annum.

He also refused to accept Groff’s resignation when she was expecting a baby and even offered to pay for full-time childcare and to purchase a Mercedes-Benz for her.

In the last few days, a viral claim was circulating on social media platforms that Family Plan actor Mark Wahlberg had contributed $35,000 to James Van Der Beek’s family via GoFundMe.

The rumour spread along with reports of contributions from notable Hollywood personalities such as Steven Spielberg, Jon M. Chu, Guy Oseary, and Zoe Saldaña.

The fundraiser was created after the demise of Van Der Beek, who had been battling third-stage colorectal cancer since 2023.

However, the claims made on social media are false, and there is no evidence that Mark Wahlberg had contributed $35,000 to James Van Der Beek’s family via GoFundMe.

This was confirmed by Mark Wahlberg and James Van Der Beek’s families.

Wahlberg’s name also does not appear in the donors’ list on the GoFundMe page.

The fundraiser has raised over $2 million with confirmed contributions from Spielberg, Chu, Oseary, and Saldana.

The genesis of the rumour can be traced to a post on the social media platform Facebook by a user named Dreamy Dube from Dorchester, who first made the claim.

The post even stated that James Van Der Beek’s family was moved to tears by the gesture from Mark Wahlberg. There was even a mention of Van Der Beek’s widow in the post.

Media outlet Primetimer, in a report, stated that the post was from an unreliable site that has in the past been indicted for fake AI-generated articles.

However, the GoFundMe campaign has evoked strong support and has already raised $2.6 million in a few days. There has been an outpouring of prayers and condolences.

However, Wahlberg is well known for his philanthropy and had donated the money he received for the reshoots of All the Money in the World, which totalled $1.5 million.

The actor had donated the whole amount for Time’s Up legal defence fund, an initiative supporting victims of sexual misconduct.

The donations also highlight Wahlberg’s pledge to address workplace inequality.

Ellen DeGeneres’s name has become viral on the internet, with netizens speculating that she is Hollywood’s most ‘prolific cannibal,’ and the genesis of these claims can be traced to the Epstein documents, which were recently made public by the Department of Justice.

Netizens have also linked numerous public personalities and the Hollywood elite circle to their theories.

Many netizens recount how Ellen DeGeneres had left the US in haste for the UK in November 2024 after increasing media and public scrutiny of the Epstein Files.

Users also alleged that Ellen DeGeneres’s name appears frequently in the flight logs to Epstein Island, and she is also alleged to be involved in Pizzagate and cannibalism.

However, there is no proof of Ellen DeGeneres being involved in cannibalism or Pizzagate.

The name of the television presenter does appear in the flight logs to the Epstein Island; her name does not appear in the recently made public documents related to the Epstein case, although it does feature the names of some popular actors, artists, and public personalities.

The genesis of the Pizzagate controversy started in 2014 when many netizens alleged that a child sex trafficking network was active among the elite and the powerful in the US.

Netizens also alleged that many prominent personalities had participated and even used code words to communicate and get access to minors.

The code words included innocuous words such as “pizza,” “hot dog,” “cheese,” and “pasta,” which netizens alleged were used to refer to “girl,” “boys,” “little girl,” and “little boy.”

Netizens also dug up past clips that feature Ellen distributing slices of pizza during the 2014 Oscars to buttress their claims.

All the hints point to the involvement of the high and the mighty in child sex trafficking.

However, most of these claims are online speculations, and there have been no official reports of any of the public personalities being involved in any wrongdoing, including Pizzagate.

However, netizens were unfazed and shared a past clip from the Joe Rogan podcast in which the latter alleged that Ellen DeGeneres’ show setting was akin to the features of Epstein Island.

The podcaster also pointed out that the vegetation of Epstein’s Island matched the vegetation viewed in Ellen DeGeneres’ set.

When Ellen was asked about her decision to suddenly relocate to the UK, she blamed it on Trump being elected for the second time.

She also stated that it had nothing to do with the Epstein files release.
